Who is it for?
This course is for electricians and plumbers who wish to work on domestic heating systems to increase their market share or open up new business options, but have little or no experience of these systems.
What the course covers
- This course covers the main domestic heating systems such as Y Plan, S plan and W Plan
- This will provide an introduction for electricians and plumbers/heating engineers to heating systems
- The main component parts, how they work, how to wire and fault find
- This will cover the work you can legally do as an electrician/plumber without being Gas Safe registered
It is taught as a mix of theory and rig based practical/demonstrations.
This course is designed for those who already have an electrical installation/maintenance or plumbing/heating background and the required hand skills for installation work. All applicants must have a good level of written and spoken English and basic mathematic skills. Minimum age 18 or undertaking a relevant approved apprenticeship.
Examination & Assessment
You will be examined by short written answer and multiple choice questions.
TTL / CPD Accreditation Office Certificate on successful completion, we do not provide certificates of attendance. All of our certificates are embossed, employers please check originals.
