Who is it for?
This course is designed for electricians who wish to be able to install and maintain emergency lighting systems. As an electrician you will have the required practical installation skills and technical understanding to install emergency lighting, and wish to gain the specific knowledge for working with emergency lighting. Enabling you to offer additional services to clients.
What the course covers
- The legislative requirements of BS 5266 and reference to EN standards.
It is taught as a mix of theory and rig based practical/demonstrations.
This course is designed for those who already have an electrical installation/maintenance background and the required hand skills for installation work. All applicants must have a good level of written and spoken English and basic mathematic skills. Minimum age 18 or undertaking a relevant approved apprenticeship.
Examination & Assessment
You will be examined by short written answer and multiple choice questions and will be issued a Technician Training Certificate on successful completion.
Please note we only certificate successful delegates who pass both theory assessments, we do not provide certificates of attendance. All of our certificates are embossed, employers please check originals.
