Who is it for?
This course covers the legal requirements for fire safety and training, fire prevention, safety checks, routine fire alarm and emergency lighting checks and practical extinguisher use. This course is available to anyone in any workplace, organisation or charity. It will assist you in meeting your legal duties and aims to give key personnel the ability and confidence to deal with fire in their specific environment. The lecturer for this course holds the British Fire Services Association Bronze long service medal for industrial fire safety.
Entry Requirments, Examination & Assessment
You will be examined by multiple choice questions and practical extinguisher use. On successful completion you will receive a Technician Training Certificate. All applicants must have a reasonable level of written and spoken English and basic mathematic skills. Minimum age 16.
This course is taught and assessed in English.
Please note we only certificate successful delegates who pass both theory assessments. We do not provide certificates of attendance. All of our certificates are embossed, employers please check originals.
