Description
Who is it for?
Those who need the on site assessment units to become fully qualified and to be able to apply for the ECS/JIB Gold card. You will have previously completed the theory units of EAL 1605, City and Guilds 2357 or completed an EAL or City and Guilds Full Time Level 3.

Entry Requirments
You will have completed relevant theory units as above and have original certificates. You will need relevant on site work experience, ideally but not essentially under the supervision of a qualified electrician. This can be as employed, self employed or even voluntary unpaid. You will need to cover a range of different installations, cable and containment types.
Examination & Assessment
We will meet with you to discuss your current situation and plan your assessments to allow you to complete the assessment within a suitable timeframe. We will provide training for AM2 but you will need to arrange and pay for this assessment yourself at one of the NET centres. Please see link

All applicants must have a good level of written and spoken English and basic mathematic skills. The assessment will be carried out in English.
